Shadow men? Blood Sabers?Follow

Even when I havnt played EQ or EQ2(which is more often then not)iv lurked the EQ2 lore boards and randomly read up on lore alot. Recently iv been seeing lots and lots of mentions of Shadow Men and people say they tie into almost every single plot line in EQ/1/2. I dont understand how iv spent whole days reading up on EQ lore and yet know nothing about them.Same goes for blood sabers.

So does anyone have any links or info they can give me. And if not would someone mind creating a post at the official EQ2 forums lore boards for me(im waiting for EoF to hit to return).

There are Shadowed men in most outdoor zones that will, once the groups are killed, spawn an entrance point to the Obelisk of Shadows (which is instantly accessible if you go to the Feerrot btw, the Tower of Zul has a zone in point, no entrance quest to get so far needed anymore). Those groups are lvl 35 heroics now though, there are more shadowed men in the entrance zone to the obelisk, but all those are heroics too, lvl 48 or so I think.

I spent my time in Nek forest, before the changes, but I do remember that from all the 27 l&l quests I've done, the shadowed men took the longest. Bixie was worse to find mobs for, but I've had to kill hundred of those shadowed men to get all the parts.

The Bloodsabers are followers of the god Bertoxxulus (sp?) who attempted to poison the entire city of Qeynos in EQ1 days. There were several quests that involved players in thwarting their plans. They lived in the sewers under the city.

I EQ2 they can still be found lurking in the catacombs below Qeynos and making feeble attempts to hatch a similar plan, though not making as much progress as before. Once the gods return they may be motivated to attempt something on a bigger scale.

There are shadow men in EL on the eastern side around the enormous tree stump surrounded by spiked logs.
