Are basket quests repeatable to the point of infinity? or are they repeatable only a certain amount of times?

Please advise.

I can't get a good handle on how many times you can do them but it is finite.

I noticed that right about the time my faction with the frogs got real good he stopped offering me the quests.

Good news is that there are lots of other things ou can do to win cash and prizes in TT.

If you've reached lvl 60, the obvious next step is to work the 4 sentry writs till you hit 65. You can get a writ from each faction (scouts, priests, soldiers and mages) that will all ask you to kill droag sentrys. Kill 20 mobs and get credit (and status) for 65. Cha-Ching!

You could also start thinking about doing your claymore. It's a long and winding road that will end in a very nice item.

Here's the thing about that though... In T7, <I think> most folks end up with a variety of weapons and armor that can be switched in or out depending on need.

At lvl 67, I already have 5 end-game weapons in my bags, 2 of which are player crafted. When I hit lvl 62, I bought an imbued xegonite 2 handed hammer and somewhere along the way, I picked up a nice player-made one handed slasher for when I just want the weapon/shield stats.

I also started T7 (at lvl 62) with a full set of player crafted rare leather armor. So even though I am aquiring various pieces of resist gear and other high-end items, (like relic), I have already purchased as much or more player crafted gear in this tier as I have in any other.

Cool. Thanks for the answer Old Blue.

I need to start looking for some groups to get some good exp going. The basket quests were just an easy way of getting exp and not having to solo tough stuff.

I wonder......

Can you kill a few frogs to lower your faction and then re-do the basket quests to raise faction????

The best XP I found for a full group in the early 60s was in SoS (Sanctum of Scaleborne). There is also another nice dungeon of about the same lvl called Temple of Scaleborne thats not nearly as busy.

When you hit your mid 60s, I think The Nest is the place to be and in your upper 60s head for The Den of the Devourer and PoA (Palice of the Awakened).

If small groups are your thing, head for "Breeding Grounds". It's a tiny island you get to from the landing pad near the frogs (at the bottom of the waterfall). The edge of the isle is filled with Azure Drakes and other solo dragon mobs b ut the interior of the island has plenty of solid heroic mobs to keep you busy.

If you wanna solo for a while, try Gazer Island. Should be good solo XP in the early 60s.

I remeber doing the basket quest, I think. Does a frog standing behind a tower near the waterfall (at the top) give them? I went back to him a few times since then but he never offers anything again.

Thats the guy and they are repeatable but you don't have to go back to him to repeat them. Just grab more baskets, fill them up and return to him.

I you have reached the limit, you won't be able to start the quest when you examine the basket but if you can fill the basket, he will pay you.

(and at just under 10 gold per basket, it's worth it to do the quests for as long as you can!)

I have a theory that the quests are tied to an exact number for each. I could not do tangleflys, yellow jackets, and swope serpents after about 5 completions for each one. However, I could still do the cabbage weeds quests which I had not done yet. I was able to do 5 bloomshire cabbage (or whatever) basket quests before the frog cut me off....

My guess is a finite number (5) and not faction level...

I was getting 9 gold and 29 silver for each completion. So 20 completions would net you just under 2 plat which is not chump change.
