EQII>WoWFollow

WoW is just a kiddie's game that requires a little bit of patience and no skill, whereas EQII requires knowledge, patience and lots of skill. Who wants to play a game where a hormone-fueled teenager can camp you for five hours whereas you can play this wonderful game?

Who agrees with me?

Both are good games.

Both have people that range from awesome to "hormone-fueled teenager".

WoW versus EQ2 troll? I think that other WoW-vs-EQ2 thread is buried somewhere deep, and long ago.

its good for people to start with a game like wow than move to a more complex game later

i preffer WoW above EQ2, i've played EQ2 and moved on to WoW, because a few things:
1. WoW isnt from SOE, so there isnt going to be ******* up, look what they did to SWG, and now to EQ2, you need a super pc to run the game in full graphics..
2. I can play WoW without a credit card, just by paying through the bank, if i do that with EQ2, my account gets banned, because those ******** at SOE cant get their stuff together.
3. Patching doesnt take 24hrs, and the server (where i am on) doesnt become laggy or buggy etc.
4. WoW isnt from SOE!!!!

so dont tell me that SOE delivers a "better" game, i guess you never played WoW to lvl 60, because it looks child like in the beginning.
THe crafting system is complex, ok not as complex as EQ2, where if you want to make 1 thing you need to make 10 or 20 other items, to make the one item. The players are friendlier on the wow servers than i've EVER saw on EQ2.

I can go on forever that wow is better game wise than EQ2, graphic wise it could be better, true, but for a fact, look how many players WoW has and how many players EQ2 has..

You should have left this thread to sink darthmurdoc, and you also shouldn't have told so many lies too.

Or, granted, rather exaggerations. About the only thing true is the fact that Sony is a bloody odd company, with some very peculiar attitudes.

Other than that, patching NEVER takes longer than 24 hours, I've had a lot more downtime with WoW (which I've played for well over half a year, got one paladin to 60, got seriously bored and started with a rogue I couldn't be bothered to lvl past 40 out of sheer boredom) and server stability is as much a factor with WoW as it is with EQ II.

So you need a supercomputer to run the game in full graphics, I'm more than happy with the rather great graphics I have already.

Just wait until Vanguard, LotRo or Star Trek and Stargate are released, all our computers are most likely inable to play any of those games to begin with.

Crafting in EQ II is about as simple as in WoW, no more subcombines (check your facts before you begin to spout inaccuracies that have changes about 3 months ago), lots more rare drops,...

And the players are about as friendly in EQ II as they are in WoW, people claiming otherwise are just too bored to look for an actual excuse and resort to mere namecalling instead.

So before you come to these forums again just trying to pick a fight on a thread that was last active well over a month ago, at least try to get the truth in it too.

WoW is boring, played since launch, cant stand it anymore, and there are flame or troll threads on wow forums about every other post, especially in class forums.

i played WOW for 12 months have 4 chars my highest was my hunter oakwynd level 60. wow is a good game.
the graphics may not be as good as eq2 thats true, but its still a good game.

i play eq2 now and have done for the last 12 months, i have a 65 ranger and love the game. my son still plays WOW and he loves the more simplistic fast paced action.

whats wrong with either game? they are both good but different games thats all.
i prefer eq2 for the more complex slow paced action. 2 good friends of mine prefer WOW for its faster pace and easier interface.

why dony you people who prefer wow over eq2 play wow?

and you people that prefer eq2 over wow play eq2?

me, i play eq2 because i prefer it.
