Tailors! - Where's the recipe for Boiled Leather Fistwraps?Follow

#1 Sep 22 2006 at 8:09 AM Rating: Decent
I've checked the Tailoring recipe books -- both essential and advanced - thru volume 29 and cannot find the damn recipe for Boiled Leather Fistwraps. Was hoping to make a pair of Pristine Imbued Cuirboilli Boiled Leather Fistwraps and came up empty.

Can anyone shed any light on this subject?

With appreciation in advance,
Whizzy/Befallen

When the system changed over to the new no subcombine method, many recipes were "lost" in the translation.

For example, there are still several tiers where a "full set" of leather consists of 3 or 4 pieces. No hat or boots... or no forearms...

Hopefully, SOE is working on reinstating these lost items and will insert them as we move forward.

I was doing some fistwraps a few days ago and noticed that it was a Metalworking skill instead of a tailor skill. Unfortunatly I think the fistwraps may have been moved to the care of weaponsmakers and we poor tailors cant do above tier 2 on them anymore :/ ....not sure but I think thats the take.

Good point, Hemlat... fistwraps are a weapon not armor so they are probably in the recipe books of weaponsmiths. The reason we can make the T2 set is that we are outfitters at that level (not yet tailors) and so we get weapon and metal armor recipes along with our tailoring ones.
