Ok, someone help. For the past 2 weeks I have looked all over the place for a lvl 28 advanced Jewler and a lvl 28 advanced Tailor. I have checked the AH 5 to 6 times a day and put it out in ooc so often peep's have to think I've lost my mind. Nothin. Thing is, I have 7 palladium clusters, and no way of usin em. Am I supposed to get these somewhere else? Or are they one of those rare drops and I'll just have to keep my fingers crossed someone decides to sell one? If anyone could help, I'd appreciate it! Thanks!

I know that the palladium is a rare drop that is needed for crafting a Palladium Torque for the quest A Strange Black Rock. I'm not sure but I think it's only used for that quest and you should get the recip when you pick up the quest. I am currently trying to get through that quest, but I haven't anymore useful information on that topic.

All of the Advanced books are difficult at best to aquire from a drop, I think it's completely random. Your best bet is to buy it on the broker (when and if you ever see it listed).

Good Luck

Hm.. I have a toon who is a lvl 43 Sage and Palladium is used in spellcrafting. For all Mage class spells adept 3, you must use Palladium. I also have a Jeweler and Palladium is used for making earrings, bracelets and rings. Not really sure what yer problem is. Hope someone finds this usefull.

There is a good trick that may help you find the book you need or at least improve your chances.

The way it works is this; the lvl of any book that drops is determined by the lvl of the mob that drops it. So, if you want a lvl 28 book, you'll need to kill lvl 28 mobs. And the easiest way (I know of) to find a lot of lvl 28 mobs that drop chests is to take a lvl 28 character into Splitpaw for a solo run through the upper tunnels.

Since Splitpaw scales to your level between 20 and 50, you can take a lvl 28 character through there and you will see mostly lvl 28 mobs. I find that a solo upper tunnel run takes me about an hour and yields an average of a dozen chest drops. It will also net you about 20% of a level in XP so you should be able to make about 5 runs before you hit lvl 29. Of course you could always turn off your combat XP and give yourself an unlimited number of runs to complete the task. In any event, have fun!

P.S. - here in EQ2, it's a broker, not an auction house!

What I'm tryin to figure out is if the advanced lvl 28 jewler recipe book is a drop or if I need to go somewhere to get it. I have checked the broker countless time's and put it out in chat that I'm lookin for it, and have gotten nothin. It doesn't seem to exist. (I know it does somewhere, lol) I mentioned the palladium clusters, cause I have a ton of em, and can't make anything with em. Sorry if I confused anyone. Just tryin to find a 28 jewler recipe book, thought i might be overlookin somethin somewhere. I'm new to the game, and am tryin to figure out if I have to get it from someone or if it's a drop. Thanks for any help anyone can give me!
