Well its time I have to get a new graphics card. My cat fell off the top of my computer, caught on the monitor cable and somehome damage my other one. Dont ask me how. I was using a geforce 4. Not sure which one. I had a geforce fx 5200 in the house I put in temperarily but noticed a big slow down when i got in game. Currently on a pretty tight budget so wondering if you guys think this would cover it.

I'm currently looking at this card: ZOGIS Geforce 7900GT 512MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
The mobo I'm looking at will support a pair of them giving me a gig of vid ram.

Newegg currently sells the card for $339.00 (each).

That should turn the trick!

Unfortunatly both video cards have to have the same textures and such loaded into their ram, so you still only have 512mb of videoram, except each card has access to its own.

Also I hear that SLI hasn't been made to work with EQ2 yet, and that it doesn't add much of a difference. However, I don't talk from first hand expirence since I don't have SLI myself. You may want to ask around hte official boards in the tech support section.
