It should be able to play the game nicely on Balanced or better. You have the 3 big ticket items covered, RAM, video card, and CPU.

Now just make sure you have a cable internet connection and you will have a very enjoyable EQ2 experience. :)

Find out the wattage on the power supply. You will want at least 400 watts to run that card and everything else, 450 is better. Power shortages can be the cause of numerous oddball problems and annoyances.

I got a computer similar to yours with the only major differences is my graphics card is a 7900gtx, my processor has a faster single core (though I don't have the 2nd core), and I got a bit older ram since I bought before AM2 came out. I havn't been playing very long (just installed yesterday) but so far I've been playing at around balanced to very high quality depending on situation, with shadows and flora turned off, and the view distance and complex shader distance turned down.

This nets a fps of about 19-50+ depending on situation. Your not going to get constant super high fps on any setting, as it seems with most RPGs, only first person shooters seem to be capable of it (a lot less going on in the game engine). However since movement and such isen't as fast as it is in some first person shooters, even when fps dips down to low 20s you don't notice the difference.

Enjoy your new computer :). It's really fun to install some older games and crank them up to full settings, just because you can ;).
