Hello all. Been reading the posts here for about a week. I just purchased this game after leaving WOW(saw all the post about former wow players so I wont get in to that)My question is im a new EQII player but not new to these games. I rolled a toon on some sever played for about 2 hours on newby island and then went to queynos. Im a "mature(40 dam im old..lol) working professional" who plays about 2-3 night a week when my wife lets me wear the pants :) IM looking for a server and a guild where i can have fun and enjoy the game. Any advise would be welcome. I play on monday and Tue. eves and some Sat. I plan on rolling a Preist class and taking up a crafting skill thats in need. Im not looking for a hand out or gold. I like to solo or group play. I read the boards daily and can locate things I want to know thru these post and game guides. Im really looking for good guild and new friends to play with. Aslo server type can be PVP or normal but haven dont much role playing. Hope to hear from you all and to be playing with you all soon.

Hi, Xodiss. Glad to hear you are enjoying the game.

Here at Alla we have several players on a few solid servers with varying tastes.

Foundation is a small, level 27, casual, family guild that specializes in parents and kids in a safe environment together. We don't raid, don't have play requirements, or level restrictions. We also have a dedicated crafter and many other aspiring ones that make items for guildmates.

We are on Najena server on the Qeynos side. Our members range in all levels from low teens to 70. We are also new-member friendly, with lots of mentoring, fun, and friendly folks in chat.

Check out our website (in my sig below) or talk to us online. Type /who all foundation to see who is on.

See you there. :)

If your looking for a healer type that can solo pretty well the druid types (Fury, Warden) are your best bet. Both classes..if played right..can be great healers. Both have fast casting heals and they work well with other healers since regen doesn't interfere with wards of the defiler/mystic or the reactives of the templar/inquistor.

Welcome to our extended family!

I gotta agree with Shruiken here that druids are an excellent choice for the new player seeking to drive a healer. I play both a warden and a fury and enjoy either one of them far more than any of the other healer types I have tried or played along side of.

The big bonus in playing a druid is that while not sacrificing anything in terms of healing abilities, they are among the highest DPSers to be found within the priest archtype.

What this means for you is that your young druid will be able to solo well and also be a desired member for small groups, full groups and raids. In a nutshell, we have it all!

Regarding a good guild, I would heartily recommend Foundation on Najena. They are a great bunch of folks who provide a warm, helpful atmosphere for the new or experienced player. You'd be hard pressed to find a better crew to hang out with.
