Any good tradeskill sites since LU24?Follow

I can't seem to locate any good tradeskill sites since the update. It seems like no one is updating. Anyone know of any good sites out there?

EQ2Traders has been working hard at reorganizing their data set since the update. This takes time since the changes were so broad but they seem to have a handle on it and are moving forward at a good pace.

Since they have always been the best site for info on crafting, I see no reason to look anywhere else and I'm happy to wait as long as it takes for them to reconstruct their DB. Loyalty... it's a good thing...

Pardon the sure-to-be-perceived-to-be-a-flame, but the results just aren't there with EQ2.eqtraders.com.

the original eqtraders.com was/is a fabulous resource. It enhanced my enjoyment of eq1 a lot, and for that I am grateful.

More than two years since game release, largely, I am sure, due to the tradeskill revamp, eq2.eqtraders.com is only a list of guides and links and a message board to get stomped on by the moderators if your question is not asked with the correct amount of reverance :P

Kinda like anyone that disagrees with OBD ;)

I am a tradeskiller, and I found the guides at eq2.eqtraders.com to be very useful. But now I actually want to make something. That requires knowing what receipies are out there, and where to get these receipie books. This site currently is a better option to find that information.

Those are the facts as I see them. Not a flame or a complaint. No one is required to pay for eq2.eqtraders.com, so nothing can be expected from them. It's just a little shocking that the eq1 website was so so valuable and the eq2 site, again more than two years post release, is in the state it's in.

It's all a question about the giant crafting "revamp" of LU24, like the thread headline states.

EQ2.traders.com has the same problem as most of us old crafters: LU24 removed all issues and challenges to crafting. The only remaining questions are how to get raws. Loads of crafters got so disappointed they simply left the game. Especially when the crafting writs were removed.

It looks like SOE has realized their mistake by adding first some new (and pretty good) crafting writs, and now a whole new crafter class which depends on all the old classes to function. Of course, you can only develop a transmuter if you bought EoF.

Since the transmuter got introduced along with some other new recipees, EQ2Traders once again has a reason for existing, but the LU24 cost so many of the most valuable and active players that the site now lacks manpower for a quick rebuild.
I think there is a generally negative feeling about taking all the pre-vamp info, people worked so hard to gather, and just flushing it out because it is useless now.
