The point isn't that we don't ever talk about other games on this forum, that happens for EVERY game. The point is that in those threads we (normally) COMPARE the games and talk about differences or things that pretain more directly to EQ2. Your post dealt with ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with EQ2. You didn't even try to compare em to EQ2, you just said "hey look, here are these FREE games, why not try them out." Rather then saying something like "Hey, here are these free games, and in x it it really looks great and does y much better then eq2 imo." You came close a couple of times, but didn't. Sorry if I rained on your parade, but that is the way it goes. The same thing woulda happened on any other forum for a specific game (like FFXI, WoW, ect) too.
Anyone who links to runescape should be shot in the face with a creamy load.

I don't mind off topic posts, in fact it was an off topic post on the WoW Allah general topic forum that led me to try EQ2. It's the usual thing, if your part of the buddy buddy bukaki drinkers clique you get an *** pat and a manly tongue kiss for off topic posts - if you ain't you get karma bombed, berated and treated like a 30 day old sack of offal.
