Here's hoping for a fix today!Follow

Sinking Sands was unplayable, I start a fight (then I wait 25 seconds for the fight to actually begin), then I want to use an ability (fifty/fifty change of it actually happening instantly, otherwise wait 25 seconds), then the screen freezes up again for about 25 seconds.

Anyway, this didn't happen in PoF luckily so I got some xp. But that zone is much better at 54, too many close fights to get a decent xp rate going. And I can't do the Ashen quest chain as yet as I can't defeat that 55 tough mob as yet.

Ah well, at 50% for lvl 54, I'll get there soon.

But I do hope they get it fixed in the maintenance, this is truly annoying.

Dunno I went to log on last night when I got home from work and the server was down. Logged on early this morning around 7am and played just fine without a glitch.

I figured they had done something during down time.

Early this morning most of the lag was gone, probably less people on causing it... but man yesterday it was BAD. I think I posted this in another thread here, but I had such bad lag I clocked it at over 2 min one time... and that wasn't un-common for others too.

Edit: It isn't on the forums yet, but if you log into the launchpad and look at the update notes you'll see they ARE implimenting what they HOPE is a fix to the lag spikes.

I heard online that they solved it on the test server, but there's no sure way to know untill we play again.

It's just really disheartening to be filled with enthousiasm to get as much xp as possible today and have to wait 25 seconds before a fight can even begin. Talk about anti-climax.

I poppeed on last night and it took about 45 seconds from me clicking on my house to being given the option to go in. I decided to log after that cause I figured it wouldnt be worth it. Nothing as bad as WoW with each patch on tuesday creating bugs, but I do hope that it is fixed by now
