Hey peoples, ever since I received the latest update (yesterday I believe), my game has been periodically freezing up. Just wondering if anyone else was experiencing these issues and possibly how to correct it. My game worked GREAT until the most recent update. Thanks in advance!

Yeah, I was seing this last night while crafting. It has never happened to me before and I even mentioned it to a friend in guild chat. (It was happening to her too). No doubt, they broke something and are now feverously working on a patch for the patch!

Happened to me too.

Sitting in TT fighting a mob and the game would just freeze. Then move along as if nothing happened. Happened at least 5 times. Wasn't happening to me the day before.

Was happening to me as well last night, was most noticeable while crafting. At first I thought it was system lag, but it seemed to be something else because it's not like I missed ticks on the crafting progress...it'd pick up right where it left off and wouldn't ***** up...which (to me) means it was client-side and not local lag. I didn't notice it this afternoon on my lunchbreak though...was runnin' nice and smooth. Maybe they already patched it (I didn't really pay attention to see if the updater grabbed anything when I logged on...was too busy scarfin' my ramen noodle!)

I've experienced similar things for weeks now. It could just be my computer not totally being able to cope with the settings, but lately things have been acting up much more.

I take a griffin/carpet/cloud but don't move, after a while I dismount at the same spot I began. I start a fight, hear lots of noices of the fight but nothing actually moves until a bit later. (also unable to use abilities)

Not sure if it is all lag on my part though, it's only begun recently.

Same thing was happening to me, with the like freezes for a few seconds. Diddn't seem like lag on my part cause I diddn't miss anything, they probably messed something up.

I also noticed a bunch of chat lag, where it would take a long time between hitting enter and it showing up.

While in Sanctum of Scaleborn last night, got kicked to Character Select once, and got kicked to desktop once.

The latter had me login in a particularly dangerous spot, resulting in a death. My lawyer will be contacting SOE shortly to recoup the losses to my armor. :)

Still seems like the server is glitchy - even after the repair patch. Not as bad as last night but noticable enough that I stopped making gear in the tradeskill instance.

I've been getting bad lag too, and all of it server side too. One thing people need to always realize is there are two types of lag, Server and Local (PC)

Local is basically what everyone thinks of as lag, frame-rate drops mainly though freezes also.

What people don't normally think of as lag (and is what is basically going on right now) is server lag. Server lag is when you hit a hotkey and it doesn't take immediate effect. Or you type in somehting and it takes like 10+ seconds (well ok actually a bit smaller time but for this 10 seconds is fine lol) for it to register. The game hanging on some action but you still being able to move is also mainly server side.

Earlier today I actually clocked one of the spikes I got with both hanging on a spell, harvest, and also chatting. I got a high of over TWO MINUTES (like 2:03 I think) on chat at one time from the time of hitting enter to it going through. The lag is way worse then yesterday... and it is Sony's fault. They borked something and haven't fixed it yet. My connection outside of EQ2 still runs very fast. So it isn't anything on my end.
