I'm into KoSFollow

I was stuck. I couldn't level, even with 100% vitality xp bonus.

Lvl 54 and I had gone through most of the quests available in DoF. Not shabby since I leveled exclusively in DoF from lvl 43-54. Lots of content, lots of quests and great rewards. However I was down to the type of quests that make you want to strangle the EQ2 developers for making cause they are so tough and so worthless. I had tried grinding xp on harpies in PoF but it was dangerous and I often got jumped by extra mobs and found myself dead.

Then I was reading the official boards and someone suggested hitting up Tenebrous Tangle. Doing the quests at entrance. So I went to the Antonica teleporter and got zapped up to Overrealm for my first time ever.

Within 2 hours I had made 45g and 36% of lvl 54 on the repeatable basket quests right at the entrance of the zone.

All I can say is Wootles, after the frustration of being stuck at 54 for a week am now blazing along again.

Gotta love those expansions!

Those stones still drop, they just lowered the rate at which they do drop. And they sell for 36 gold a piece if i remember.

One of the reasons they nerfed the rate drop was that place on fear island was crowded with chinese plat farmers that were training anyone that was getting near (been trained many times by them just trying to get quests done minding my own business).

But once in a while youll get lucky and get one. Thing is before the nerf you could get away with an easy 10 plats worth of stones for a few hours of killing.

Hmm, I'm about 10% away from lvl 53, I wonder if it would be possible to quest in TT at that level?

Or do you really have to be 54 up there?

DoF is fun and all but there aren't many quests there, I've done a lot of yellow and orange quests (apart from a couple of heroics, like the carpet quest) but only have about 3 left in SS and about 4 or so in PoF. And Maj'Dul isn't much better, no idea why but can't find more than three or four quests there.

Hmm, non heroic mobs that are two levels higher seem to be the limit for me. Higher gets risky as I miss too much. Ah well, already at 53 almost anyway.



Meh, I'll wait till I hit 56 to get that carpet myself then, or 58. 7 levels should be enough to take out a heroic mob, normal ones anyway (not like Everling or the HQ mob in Enchanted Lands for the Flowing Black Silk Sash quest).

I'm not that fond of quest chains, I prefer to take the quests in larger amounts at the same time, not one quest leading to another. I've done several quest chains so far too, the one with Ghassan and ending up with killing Rashid, the one with the Embalmer starting with easy skellies and ending up with the Suj'Dal, ...

I'll get by.

As for guildies, I'm European playing on a US server in the middle of a holiday period , but that doesn't bother me, I knew that in advance!
(and the help I get from my guildies in Foundation already is large!)

This would be the first part I believe, indeed a very long quest line ending with a very difficult clearing of a zone, after that get max ally status and then you can get a new title.

A lot of work, I tried the first part at 53 but that chief guerilla was too hard, avoided too much and I didn't make it. But now that I'm 54, I'll go for it.

You'll be doing that one until you hit kindly, then there should be a new one, a more difficult one.
