Am looking for something new from WoW....Follow

I am bored with WoW because it is too casual and easy, and has no content. I am looking at SWG or EQ2. Both trials of the game have you secluded in a little island and space station unable to go anywhere so, I'd like to know how is the non-quest and leveling/grinding content? I am a heavy Roleplayer and have been told that I wont find much RPing unless I go to a specific RP server and get a guild. Also, how badly has the NGE made SWG? From what Ive gathered, it has made the game suitable for more casual gamers, please educate me if Im wrong. Also as stated above, how is the housing system? I think this is a nice feature to have for people to RP with, they actually feel a connection with their character. Any insight would be appreciated.
