Either ignore it or if it is persistant harrassment contact an admin and they will do their best to address the issue. If its a sock an admin can just match IP address (which is logged each and every time you post) to the main account of the person.

If they continue to send you pms, your best bet is get the account banned, but that probably wont end anything, with socks being so easy to create.

As far as telling who they are from IP, it can work, but some of the devs here are to stupid to do it right, since people can have the same ip address.
