I was just wondering, if its possible to transfer from a PvE server, over to a PvP server? I checked on the official site, and didnt see a PvP server listed for me to transfer too. I then checked back, and it now says the service is unavailable at this time. I hope its possible...

Well it may not be available at this time due to the servers being down... as for the transering to a pvp from a pve, I don't know. I know WoW isn't going to allow it when they put in that, since it is "much easier to level to 60 (cap for WoW) on a PvE realm" so it would give "unfair advantage" to be able to transfer to a PvP realm.

This may be true... However, All in All though, they have rule sets as to who I could attack, so I dont know what advantage I really would have? It's not like I could run around and kill everyone I wanted to.

I am just seeking a new play style, with a character I've raised to the top, and done most of the content with. The content I wanted to do anywau.

At this point in time, all I want to do with my necro, is get all relic gear, and finish my MoA trials. Aside from that, I could also work to get a nightmare horse, and some of my pets master spells.

Well the unfair advantage is that it is easier to level on a PvE server. I realize you cann't just go attack anyone you want, but it still stands in a sense.

yes, I dont disagree with the fact that its easier to level. I'm just saying, aside from the fact its easier to level on PvE, what advantage would I really have already at level 70 coming to PvP, and who would it hurt?

The main reason they created the Transfer service was to allow players who may have already made and played characters on one server, to join there friends on another, correct?

They charge $50, so I hope they'd allow you to go to whatever server you wish. It's not as if it was some master minded plan of mine from day 1, to level on PvE then jump on over to PvP and claim to everyone I made it to level 70 on a PvP server.

Well, I don't really know like I said... I know on WoW it would be more of onje because you can attack anyone anytime... as for if eq2 has something like that I don't know... other then it is easier to level though, I really don't know of a big un-fair advantage... maybe easier to get gear/quests done and such?

eh who knows. I'll have to look into it, and if I gotta start all over, so be it. Just will be tough to not rely on my main making money for my PvP alt. Booo!
