Hey Vataro, there are a number of WoW ex-patriates that are enjoying EQ2.

You can find Lamneth and Tomec over on Blackburrow, as well as myself, DSD, Exodus and a few others.

Yea, I read the FAQ . So far I'm just trying to experience everything, but no doubt I will have many questions .

As for the cross-server chat... maybe like the same for tells? Servername.Channelname?

Well in all fairness it wasn't that fast... it was fast ya, but I think we were fighting for a good 30/40 seconds.

On a side note, I do think the cross-server chat channels work. I tried typing in/join Blackburrow.Asylum and it let me. No one was on it so I couldn't tell if it actually went through to BB or just made a new one on Lucan... but with the servername.charname thing being so rooted in the game I wouldn't be shocked at all if it went into other things like chat channels too. Hopefully when I log on next it'll be a little more lively and we'll see ;P

Indeed it was. I basically spent the whole day w/o posting on alla... Which is what I normally do during the day :P Or at least read them when i'm bored.

On a side note, upon loging in last night I was able to see the chat from the asylum... I even typed a little. Takes a little longer like with cross server tells, but it is totally doable/posible.

Anyways, indeed it is... the command to join from other servers is just like I though, /join servername.channelname

So for the Asylum from other servers you would want to type

/join Blackburrow.Asylum

Obviously be hard to ask for help doing something, but for general chatting...

On another side note... I was feeling a little rebelous from the servers being down last night and called some admins out :P Namely the admi who used to take "care" of EQ2 and now is working WoW. Thread is here in case you're interested.

Ya, and you weren't able to recieve cross-server tells either... So something is up there.

Well, the pic itself is kind of stylizied and "glossy" also, the anime I took it from doesn't do much in the way of unique designs for chars besides hair/eye color. Not a lot of anime do though.
