#1 Jun 16 2006 at 11:32 PM Rating: Decent
I play EQ currently, and have been hating the game ever since PoP. just because it plain ruins the game.

Anyways...Should i try EQ2 out?

I played EQ2 When it was brand new... and didnt really like the fighting system..

so if i could get any advice on this... SoE sucks at expansions, so they'll just keep running EQ into the ground.. I need a new game to love! AHH

HELP!

haha, Thanks =D

and any tips on class/race would rock!

Not exactly true. The mobs now use spells appropriate to their class and equal to player spells of the same level. This wasn't always the case.

If you're looking for more intelligent mobs, you could always play Oblivion Smiley: smile

If you're not happy with the game, SR, why do you keep playing? And why do you continue to post in here if you much prefer D&D?

Putting this thread back on track...

Neoban, have you found all the answers to your questions?

You may find that even though the two games share the same name and lore, they play totally differently. Graphics, mechanics, rules, spells, all work different. Knowing and expecting that can help you understand EQ2.

You can also go to the free demo version and see a bit of the game for free.
