I played the trial of this game it was good but the graphics seem a little choppy when i put it on balanced or above? Is it my pc or is this the game?
Specs:Athalon 3400 2.2ghz
geforce 6600 256mb
1 gig ram
If its my pc what should i do to upgrade so i could enjoy this game on balanced or above with 30 fps or above and without the choppy graphics.
thanks in advance

I have a P4 3.4 ghz, 1gb ddr ram, and it runs choppy probably cause my lil ole 128mb radeon. I put it on high performance and things are fine.

If you want to play above Balanced, get 2BG RAM.

Probably would equate to getting a whole new PC almost...

I'd say you need to get at LEAST 1 gig MORE ram (2gigs total) as a starting point. I'm not too familar with NVidia cards so i'm not sure if that is a good card or not, but I do know it is a little dated so I would probably upgrade that next. Finally get a new, faster, cpu.

Your CPU is pretty decent for good gaming in this game, I myself have a Athlon 3000 (clocked at 2ghz no OC'ing) with 2 gigs of ram and an old ATI Radeon 9800 and can play fairly well. I use a custom option setting though, not one of the pre-defined. If I had to guess I would say my options are probably close to high, if not a little beyond them.

2gigs of total ram will help you out the most though imo. Almost everyone I see playing on "high" settings has 2gigs. If not more.

To play on high, you'll want some serious equipment:
4.0MHZ+ processor
512MB video card (make sure it's compatible with EQ2 - vertex shading and all that), maybe even dual video cards.
2GB+ RAM

Keep in mind that when you turn up the graphics, it just doesn't go up a few settings, it rises geometrically. Meaning, each step up is a significant change which requires a significant upgrade in computer equipment.

So much so, that the top setting is basically impossible with normal off-the-shelf parts.

Remember you can go into the game video settings and tweak them to get the best performance.
