I played the trial of the isle with a paladin, berserker and swashbuckler. The game isn't so bad, is there any good resolution pvp movies that people have made? I might be interested in actually getting the full game but im not sure yet, still wish Vanguard open beta was out.
Any pvp movies would be great, doesn't matter the class :)

Not exactly what I would call a ringing endorsement. You might as well just wait till something "perfect" comes out...
as a heads up, the island does nothing for the game. Many wish it would either be taken out or revamped as it does not really give the feeling for the game at all. As for vids, just goggle it. Im sure something will pop up

The island really does not give a good picture of the game. The full game is 100x better, if not more. I guess it is a decent tutorial level type thing (if you compare eq2 to a single player) but the real meat and the best stuff comes after.
EQ2 is nice in that you can get a free trial w/o buying the game, but you can't really judge the game off that.

Yeah i figured the trial wouldn't be anything like the real game. I did find a few pvp movies and it looks pretty good. Didn't the trial get revamped? i remember trying the trial like a year ago and it was way different than what i tried just a couple days ago.
I'm coming from playing WoW since release and i didn't actually think i'd like the eq2 trial the second time around but i did.

google is your friend when it comes to vids.
As for revmping th eisland, yeah they did, but again there is just no comparison to the actual game. Its something you just have to check out if youre actually interested
