Estimated Loading Time....Follow

OK, this is my first time to play EQ2. I have loaded all the disks and everything but when i try to get on to play, it says that the estimated loading time is 45 hours and some minutes. What I want to know is if this is normal for the first time playing and if it really does take that long.Thanks to anyone that can help!

I just got the game off Direct2Drive the other day, which has to download more of the game after you get the 3gb download, and then patch. I am on a pretty fast cable connection, and it only took 3 hours. Unless you are on a slow dial-up connection, 45 hours seems VERY long to patch.
