what are the numbers for????Follow

Hi all....I just was wondering, when I was looking at the quest guides on this site, I noticed that after NPCs there is a set of positive and negitive numbers in parens...what are they for? Just wondering..

I believe that is their in game Locations. If you hover your mouse of the compass you will see some numbers pop up. That is your LOC. Should be three numbers for the 3 axis' (N/S,E/W,U/D).

Actually I'm pretty sure U/D is the middle number in EQ2 Smiley: smile

well lat/alt/long explains why I was having trouble getting orientated in Trial of the Isle.

Seems a odd way to do co-ords, but easy to adjust I suppose

Ya, it is a bit of a weird way to do coords... you can try jumping with your mouse over the compass and see the alt change...

EQ had the altitude last. I always wondered why they changed it for EQ2 Smiley: rolleyes

Yeah, clearly Y, Z, X makes more sense than X, Y, Z format.

A neat tip for the next time you get a full set of coords like that - copy them out of the browser and then use the '/waypoint' command before the coordinate set. It'll give you a red dot on your map window where the location is, as well as the glowing trail to follow.
