EQ2 site is currently being merged by Rale, I'm not sure how far along that is - Administrator Danalog
For the EQ2 site, we are going to basically replace our entire database with the ogaming database. We loved their data, but weren't thrilled with their programming, so Rale is in the process of rewriting their database to make it easier to use. -Allakhazam

Ogamings database + Allakhazams usability.
Plus an increase in progammers & content adding personnel. Plus a lot of the ogaming eq2 community making the jump over. Should be interesting too see how it goes.

I'm glad as hell we/re getting the Ogaming info, not so much about the ogaming community. I'm gonna miss the quiet little forumn we got here lol.
For starters how about an admin over the EQ2 site.
Then lets get some tradeskill portion to the site.
How about after that we make some of the basic information correct.
Then lets go and have a system for characters, and some of those neat WoWsig thingys.
The list goes on and on.

Id like to get upgrades to the item database. Hell, the EB earring I linked earlier I had to do from Ogaming, because the link on allas was so freaking old it didnt even have the EB listed!

1)EQ2 Allakhazam will have 3~ish admins, data entry types.
2) The entire Ogaming EQ2 database will be transferred over to Allakhazam. Rale is in the process of cleaning it up and formatting it for Allakhazam.com style.
Give it time.

Besides that though, Lamneth has a point about something... while there are some admins who are/were working on the EQ2 site, it is SO out of date that all i've used since i've been playing EQ2 is the forums here.
The last actual EQ2 related update (see non-general site news like the whole zam.com and E3 things) was LU23 on May 3rd... a full month ago. Though, I guess if you really want to nitpick then the 9th with that radio thing would be the last. Either way that is a damn long time to go w/o an update... or even some basic information corrections.
I guess the game has changed a lot since launch, heck i've heard it is basically like a whole new game... but still, in the past on other games (like WoW, though I bet that was easier with the item collector) when there have been major changes the sites have been updated.
It would be kind of pointless to so a TS section atm since in the next LU it is being totally redone. But that is another thread.
Well going from 1 admin only to 3 should help. Plus the straight port of Ogaming info.

Seems they finally went and nuked/banned Damiende, he has been trolling the various allakhazam boards (L2, EQ2, etc) with his childish antics. Guess they finally got tired of him.
