Do i need like EverQuest 1 to play? or the second game is different and not an expansion? i am probably going to get this game in the summer
In a word, no. They are entirely different games which take place 500 years apart and you don't need to own EQ live or to ever have been in Norrath before in order to play EQ2.

how many expansion are there?...and if its not to hard could i see like a video made by a player rather then like a site or something?
There are two full expansions, soon to be three adventure packs, and in Nov the third expansion comes out. When you ask for video, are you just looking for graphics? Go check out the EQ2 comic vid thread halfway down this page
