Selling accounts is a breach of the EULA. SoE will ban them if they catch them but I guess it's still done anyway.

Where the buyer will run into trouble is if they ever need CS and are asked to quote the original credit card number and email.

The only way to sell accounts and not violate ToS is to be one the station exchange servers. So those that do it dont affect real players.

I gather you don't feel you got your moneys worth just from playing...

In any event, no. You can't legally sell your accounts to someone else.

Now that this place is owned by a company that sells these kind of things. That can soon change.
Well since there is nothing but your own alla hating ignorance saying so right now, it is not true. Atleast give alla a chance to keep his word, or if you dont like the merge without giving him a chance leave.

You are also ignorant on the issue. You see alla has nothing to do with SOE, so the answer will not change. The only way to sell accounts without breaking TOS is for them to do so through SOE on the station exchange servers.

#8REDACTED, Posted: May 24 2006 at 8:14 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I get my moneys worth out of my car by driving it but I still get cash for selling it or trading it in OBD :) And no I never said I DIDN"T gey my moneys worth out of it, Mmmm where did you read that in my post BTW? As for being legal I really don't care hehehe. We are talking about the same game that allows bots to run freely on most servers.

The EULA says No to selling characters.

That doesnt stop it from happening. However if you are using the same credit card to pay for your EQlive and EQ2 account and are busted for it then you might get an extra slap.

If you are really keen on taking the chance I would encourage you look around, I know SOE had a deal where you could transfer a toon for free to an Exchange server, from there you could sell it no hassles.

I didn't read it in your post, I inferred it from what you did say. Thats why I said "I gather"... the use of that phrase means I construed the information from the weight of your comments. Now do you understand?

In that case, you are no better than those who already flaunt the rules and I can write you off as just another immoral player. Goodbye!

#13REDACTED, Posted: May 25 2006 at 8:15 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) And I am sure you NEVER do anything imoral or against the law?
#14REDACTED, Posted: May 25 2006 at 8:18 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) And you base this on your 12 year old Instincts, or on what?
#15REDACTED, Posted: May 25 2006 at 8:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I saw no attacks to you in this post yet you and you mighty midget mind see one some where. As for my morals I am sure they are fine. After all I don't think anyone is going to hell for selling an EQ2 acount.
