Lack of infoFollow

Recently, after all of Blizzards crap, I decided to give EQ2 a shot. I used this site for EQ and WoW, so I figured I'd use it for EQ2 as well. After searching for a few items, and getting no results on any of them, I'm wondering, what's the deal? I've also notice that there doesn't seem to be anything like the WoWreader, where people can upload game info. So I'm guessing that's why there seems to be an extreme lack of it. When can I expect to be able to come to this site and find info on anything that I want? I have a paying membership so I'd like to think I'm not waisting my money. If this is the wrong forum for this, somebody please let me know.

Try Ogaming site for some gaming info. It is in the process of being integrated into Allakhazam. Hopefully things will beef up soon since Alla promised an increase in admin and content for the EQ2 portion of the site.

And if you could spell and/or put together a coherent sentence, you wouldn't be half as much of a... no, I take that back, you would still be a moron. Now be gone, thou jellied sock puppet!

It should be soon, hopefully anyway.

In the meantime, Ogaming has a very good quest database (which should merge with Alla's I believe) which might not be always 100% correct but should work nicely. For maps I use this place a lot. It's combined with quests too but a lot are missing.

Start contributing as well. A large part of "Community" sites rely on "Community" provided information. Use your Journal, write stuff down as you find it in-game and provide/post/share/PM the information here at Allakhazam. Especially with Guides for Quests and whatnot.

Alla has stated that they put everything into their WoW info and did let the ball drop on EQ2. With that said, Ogaming is supposed to be integrated into this site by August. Alla has also stated that they will be doing massive revamps in this area once that happens to get everything up to date for us. Its sad it was let go so far in the first place, but with renewed interest both on the community and admins part, I am keeping my fingers crossed for a much more up to date database.

With that said, like others mentioned, this site relies heavily as well on info contributed by the community itself. If you notice something is missing and you can get the info to alla I am sure it will be impletended with speed

Lying is dangerous, ignorance is worse.

i have looked, and i can tell you, this site is the best one out there.

Lie. Either you're lying about looking or lying about what you saw. This site is currently one of the worst, other than the community here on the boards. (well, most of it, anyway) OGaming has an excellent quest database.

i just picked up a quest in qeynos that saiys i need to find some stolen items, and thats it. noo hints no clues, nada. teh best you can do is come here and ask in chat.

People with half a brain don't need to be hand-held to get through a quest. Some people actually like a challenge...

Heh, ya know...that's something that's always bugged me. You know that information is going to be out there, but what do you think it was like prior to information getting posted/integrated into sites like Alla and Ogaming? The Dev's "make" the quests with the idea that it's a challenge and something to make you think and do on your own. Second time around? Yea...then hint/search for the quest information all ya want! But if it's the first time you get a quest, and you instantly don't know where to go...what fun is it to just "look it up" and instantly know the answer? There's no challenge in that! XD

SR has been a somewhat regular poster on the OOT board - Asylum for a couple years now. He has consistently sprayed incomprehensible ignorance with almost each and everyone of his posts.

His 'opinion' is ill informed, poorly thought out garbage that has no connection to what really is the issue. It would almost be more comforting if I knew he was a troll. However he is just a guy that is terribly ignorant and outspoken, which is all the more scary.
