Is there anywhere that has a list of what mobs have been known to drop certain advanced tradeskill volumes?

Specifically Advanced Outfitter Volume 19.

Pretty sure they're random drops that are tier related. Your best bet is to check the broker Smiley: smile

As Bluie noted, they are random drops so no list of who and where exists and finding one specific volume would truly be like finding that proverbial needle in a haystack!

I agree that your best bet is the broker... or /ooc... a LOT!!!

The level of the book will match the level of the MoB that dropped it, so if you want Advanced Weaponsmith Volume 25, kill level 25 MoB's. It's a chest drop so they have to be at least green to you. Other than that it's random.

Some people swear the MoB's will never drop books or spells you can use, but I've personally gotten them, so that claim is false.

That claim is absolutely false!
I have gotten spells and crafting books I needed before. In fact, this one time, (in T-Steppes), I was in a trio with my warden and we dropped a crow who dropped a chest. I leveled up on the kill and the chest contained an adept for the new spell that I got that level! Talk about timing!

In general though, the problem is that the basic odds of catching something you can use are stacked terribly high against you. With 24 classes, the odds are 1 in 24 that it will be a spell for your class and even if it is, what are the odds that you haven't already upgraded it? The same kind of math applies to crafting books. First, the book would have to be for the one thing you happen to craft and then it would have to be a book you hadn't already bought...

I think the odds are unlikely at best.
