I'm new to EQ2 and thinking about starting a Wizard. For some RP flair and my personal taste, could anyone provide any info on any available "pointy hats" for Wizards?
I know the high level relic quest hat is out there, but are there any before that for lower level wizards? Thanks!

In short, no. There are no low-level pointy hat quests. The only pointy hats available are from a difficult quest line, Blood of the Brood in Kingdom of Sky expansion pack, requiring you to be mid-60's.
Until then, you are destined to wear normal helms that look like bicycle helmets. I usually turn off that graphic option, showing my head and face, while still retaining the protective properties of the helm.

lol, they do too.
While I was leveling my necro, before I could wear my plague bringer cap, or draconist hat, I would display the hood on my robe usually. As Kindle said, most the helmets arent that great looking.

I think there should be some pointy hats available to all levels,or at least starting at level 10. I have a female mage/chanter type I use in my mmorpgs,and I plan on putting her in this game as well. She'd look good in the pointy hat, as the character is basically a witch type.
