Yes, in fact there are many that play that much of less. You can log on, accomplish a few quest steps, kill a few mobs, craft a few items, anything!

If you want to pick up the pace, then you jump into a group and go adventure into more danger for even more loot and exp.

And with all the solo content around, you can effectively solo yourself through the whole game, although it will take a bit longer. However, as a solo player, you will miss the group, epic, and raid content.

This one mmorpg (EQ2), is the only game of its kind, that ive personally played, that allows you to play casual and accomplish things. If you dont play for a week or so, you gain Vitality, which you will recieve Double experience points toward your next adventure level, or tradeskill level.

WoW is also this way. And in WoW you recieve the rested bonus when you log out in an in or capital city. Its equivilent to vitality in you recieve double exp points per mob kill.

True, but the advantage of EQ II would be that you don't have to be in an inn or city to get the vitality/restedxp bonus.

WoW is in part easier to play, also for the casual gamer. I've levelled my paladin to level 60 all on my own, hardly grouped, EQ II is a bit harder but imo more satisfying that way. Personal opinion ofcourse!
