LU22 Feature Problem - Recruiting WindowFollow

I made all the changes to the window, typed in the data, selected we are looking for all classes, training, casual, etc.

Checked the box in the lower left that lists me us recruiting. And even right-clicked me and all other officers in the guild roster and made us Recruiters.

Problem is, Foundation is still not listed. Had my non-guilded son's account, plus others verify that they did not see us listed.

Anyone else have this problem or maybe a solution?

By the way, I'm using Thor UI and don't have a Recruiter check box in the Persona > Options window yet. Another guild officer with the default UI has the box, checked it, but there was no change.

Help!

Yep, we have the same problem. No solution that I'm aware of yet.

I've read on the main forums that many guilds are not showing up. Also, others have noticed that only 15 guilds show up at a time.

Last I've read there was no official word on whether this was the intended feature or a bug.

Found that thread, thanks. I normally stay way from the SOE forums, as it is hammered with 95% "yea, what he said" posts.

Seems MANY guilds are having the same problem. I'd expect a patch to come out in the next few days, maybe even a few UI changes.

I didn't notice on the Reruiting window if it was possible to sort by guild level for recruiters or recruitees. It would make sense to be able to narrow that search down. I don't think a raid guild would want to take on a level 12 Ranger. Or is that what the "We Train New Players" check box is for?

It's actually easier for a small guild to level than a big one with the current status system (e.g. the elimination of patrons) especially if the small guild is concentrating on status.

A level range for prospective recruits would be a good addition, though.

But now that I think more about it, it might have been left out on purpose. I mean, who would want to join a level 8 guild if they can join a level 41 guild?

Which brings up another idea...connecting guild membership tenure with guild level rewards. Meaning, one that is a founder of a level 25 guild would have more items available from the merchant than someone that just joined the guild.

That would prevent those exploitive players that join a level 25 or 30+ level guild just to get the special mounts, then leave the guild.
Ok, I know it's technically not an "exploit", but it's damn unethical!

I even had someone in my (28) guild ask if she could detag and join her friend's guild (30) so she could buy something and then come back to us Smiley: mad

Errrr no, but you could help us level to 30 so the whole guild can buy those things!!

Not surprisingly that person has since moved on.
