Currently I'm playing FFXi, but I'm really thinking of jumping to EQ2 would it be worth it?

Yes it will be worth it. This game is still young but alot of fun. There are many players you can group with on Antonia Bayle and Najana (hah take that tutan!)There are many quests to do and many fun classes as well as many different ways to develope your race/class.

Any race can be any class on this game so you dont have any limitations. You can be anything...such as a Wood elf Berserker,Halfling Dirge,or even a dark elf ranger.

There is a quest that can make your character become good or evil called the betrayal quest. It changes the alignment of your character and even changes their class. There is alot of great stuff in this game even i havent figured it all out.
Hope you join the game and join antonia bayle server. I could hook you up and help you (even though i have no lvl 40+ charcters)I can also get you hooked up with a guild. Hope to see ya in game.

You could always copy/paste the link in it's raw form (i.e. http://www...) It's not as sexy but just as effective. Plus you can get yet another jump on me. :)

EDIT: I just noticed this forum will automatically make a hyperlink out of anything starting with htt...I better not, lest it makes another link.
