Class restrictions on races? Are Iksar Defilers or shamans alloweD? since on this site the guide says iksar can't become priest?.
But on another site i heard there was no restriction on class so any race can be w.e. can someone verify this for me please?

Also, did they take off like the priest - shaman thing and you just straight start out at lvl 1 as a Defiler?. This way you dun have to do all the quests ? .

Can anyone tell me the changes they made for lvls 1-20 , since my friend used to play and i watched him, so dats waht i remebered but i heard it changed?

Thanks for Help

Don't know where you read that Iksars cannot be priests but that's incorrect.

It is, however, true that the archtypes and class quests have all been removed. You now choose your final class when you create the character and any race can become any class... with one small restriction.

Good is good and evil is evil so you cannot have an Iksar ranger or a wood elf necromancer. Any class that is exclusively good or evil can only be selected for a character who can start out in that city.

There is, however, still one way you can buck this system... If you just have to have a dark elf ranger (and please, please, please don't name him Drizzt'), the way to do it is to create the character and select the class that is the flip side of the class you actually want. (So for that dark elf ranger, you would choose assassin.) Then when you're ready, you do the betrayal quest to come over to the good side and BAM! once completed, you will be a DE ranger in Qeynos!
