What Happens when Equipment names become Grey to you? I am lvl 48 still using a lvl 20 bracelet that has good stats. The Fact that it is grey, doesnt seem to effect the stats that it gives. I was wondering what effects does this have on your equipment?
It might have good stats on it for a lvl 20 item but at lvl 48 you should be able to find much better stuff. Anyway, you can still use it and get the stats the graying just tells you that the item is far below your current lvl of ability.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say it still works, but the game is telling you it's time to change clothes.
When your level gets higher, that usually means you are in a higher tier zone fighing tougher monsters. You grey armor is an indication that it is not enough to protect you against the tougher threats, and you should visit your local Broker.

Youve outleveled the qruipment. Check out the broker for some upgrades or keep an eye out for loot.
Im 57 and I still use my fishbone earring. I have not seen any other earrings that offer the resists/sta and hitpoints/mana. At least not ones that are affordable.
Unless that lvl 20 bracelet you have it fabled I would really venture to say even a tier 5 handcrafted item would be a upgrade.

The Bracelet is the Gloom woven Bracelet. I have checked the brokers in Q, and FP, and replaced one of the Gloom bracelets. I still have the other equiped. I check the brokers in each city each day, still have found nothing. I posted this, just to make sure I still get the stats and what not.
um, few days ago anyway... lol. I enjoy leveling my toons more than anything in MMORPG's. I always usually reach the upper echelon of levels pretty fast, but idk, thats just what I like to do. EQ2 is by Far the best MMORPG ive EVER played, I love it. The one thing I dont like is all the classes... cuz I wanna lvl alot of them lol.
