I run on a 3.4 pent 4, 1gig ddr ram, 64 meg vid card Laptop...EQ ran flawless, as well as WoW. After 6 years im done with EQ and i got to 60 in a month in WoW so im very bored, followed by annoyed because WoW server stability is the laughing stock of the gaming world. Anyone run a similiar set up? I'm fearful of it running crappy but might conisider trying EQ2. Thanks
With a 64MB vid card, EQ2 might be able to run on the very lowest setting, (extreme performance), with everything turned way down. "EQ ran flawless" for you on that rig but this is not EQ!!!
To do any serious playing here you will need a 128 or 256 MB vid card.
I have run the game on my laptop (with a 64MB ATI card), but only at the lowest setting and even then, I was only able to do some crafting and low level stuff... nothing serious like a full group on a dungeon crawl. The lag would've killed me!
