hey im thinking about playing eq2 what do i need to buy to get up to day with all the expansions? i know there is a eq titanium for eq1 and it has like most of the expansions on it but is there anything like that for eq2?
If you buy the retail version of Kingdom of Sky, it comes with the basic EQ2 game. The digital download of KoS does not have this option.
There are 2 other adventure packs and 1 other expansion pack, but you can do without them until you decide to make a bigger commitment.

I agree the best value right now is to buy Kingdom of Sky. It gives you some free in-game items (which personalyl I feel are junk, but you know). You get your free 30 days and of course eq2.
Thing I never have figured out though is what your max level is if you own KOS but do not own DOF. Can you reach lvl 60 but not 70, can you go all the way to 70, or can you only reach 50? In any case I wouldn't recommend buying DOF until you are lvl 40ish as the lowest level mobs there are lvl 45.

KoS raises the level cap to 70, so no need to get DoF to "bridge the gap".
It will, however, be quite tough to level to 60 without the DoF zones.
