I was just wondering If any of you have ever used this service? When I went to the Everquest II online store, there was an option listed as a Digital copy of Everquest II for 19.99. When I went to click on it, it brought me to a website called "Direct2Direct". Has anyone purchased a game from that site before? I am considering doing so, however I want to make sure its a decent website. As in no additional hidden fee's or something of that nature.

I think you mean direct2drive and although I haven't bought anything from them, yes they are a well known and reputable firm.

There is also Ubisoft. I have purchased from them and they are honest and quick. You can find them HERE

ok cool, I just wanted to make sure before I purchased anything. I dont wanna be charged any additional fee's other than the 20 buck for EQII. I played the Trial version, and the game is awsome. I gotta get that Gamepad you've been suggesting, because I died a few times scrambling to attack, or I would accidentally target something else, lol. However, EQII just from the trial version, is not only graphically superior to any game ive played, it also controls smoothly. A friend of mine who doesnt really like RPG type games, is planning on purchasing the game when he buys his lap top. I think im gonna go ahead and buy the digital download, because I wanna play the full version tonight, and tommorrow. I have the KoS expansion on the way, will arrive sometime next week. I know that comes with the original game, but I wanna play now! Also wont hurt to have a back-up hard copy of the game. What server are you on, bluedragon?

make sure you read the FAQ on the program. I bought EQII this way and ended up not being able to download the file. Alot of BS needs to be done, like fire wall, add/spy ware, cookies, and some other peramiters they don't tell you untill you run into problems and then have to wait 2 days to get ahold of customer service.

bottom line, I got my money back, went out that day, bought the game, and had it up and running in an hour.

Sometiems you can find people selling eq2 keys on ebay for cheap. I bought my eq2 for $13 no shipping on Ebay. The auction said it was for the cd-key only and the box/software would be destroyed. Beats $20.
