I have just recently created a Dark Elf Fury, I haven't played much yet, but I am wondering if that is a good match? I want a character that has good speed, but with decent damage. I really like the Dark Elves so I want to keep that type of character. Any suggestions?

Any race can be any class, and starting stats are meaningless as they are quickly overruned by gear with stats.
Furies are fairly good soloers, good dmg ability and the possibility to heal yourself. Definately the 'quickest' soloer among healer classes imo. My GF's fury at level 26 had a nuke that was making twice as much damage as my strongest nuke at level 60 (i play a templar). Just to give you an idea...
