After a week (maybe two) of steadily mashing the rate button, it is with great pleasure that I exalt our esteemed Dark Sith Lord to the rank of Sage. Though I was not the final person to push you over the edge, I would definitely like to take credit for fighting the good fight. Congratz,

Thanks, Meayrk, I appreciate the support. And to everyone for putting up with my posts all this time.

Just glad to be a cog in this wheel. :)

Anything to keep the Beatles songs from slipping back into my head. Last night the guild really had it in for me. :)

Just goes to prove my point that the rating system is a big popularity contest. One person can say something and get rated excellent then another can say the same thing and get awful. And don't EVER post anything negative in the eq1 item forums. IF you say a quest that takes 2 hours and rewards a rusty weapon is not very good you will get bashed for sure..

In regards to Tut, I digress. He is one of the most helpful people on these boards and the EQ2 website. Each would have long been thrown into shambles if not for his tireless pursuit of updating quests and such. I did the same thing for OBD. This, although minute, is my only tangible way to really thank them for all they have contributed.

The rating system is not just a popularity contest. For some it is, others it is part of how they represent themselves. I was a scholar once I hit my 15th post, I didnt make sage until I had over 3000 posts and someone decided that my contributions deserved to make me a sage, but I doubt I would ever become a guru.

Tut is a contributer here, as is OBD, both earned their rank.

Yes there are some that create socks, and care too much about karma, but there are just as many people who have become sub-default that need to be ignored. But Tut never cried for Karma nor deserves to have his rank tarnished.
