What zone and who starts the carpet quests. Do you have to be level 50 to do the quest?

It's a level 48 quest that starts in the Desert of Flames expansion pack, Sinking Sands, near the docks. When you zone in, go up the beach to the right to the camp.

I believe it's called Threads of the Desert. That quest is not listed here, and ogaming.com web site is not working (at least through my at-work firewall).

Edit: Found a good link at TTH.

One more note, part 4 of the quest will require a full group of 55+'ish, including a Mezzer. You cannot raid the encounter, but you can have out-of-group DPS, mezzer, and healer support. The Djinn have elemental-based attacks, cold included.

Our Mezzer was out of the group, and when we initiated the encounter, he quickly mezzed two of the Djinn, making the whole fight last less than 4 minutes. A nice outcome, seeing as how our previous attempt resulted in a wipe in less than 1 minute.

Thank you for the link to the quest. I started it last night my toon was 47. I was given the quest after I turned in the quest giving the necklace parts to the carpet seller at the crock camp to the right of the place you zone in at,after killing the "Rojerian" (spelled wrong)leader on the road. I thought the 10 spider silks was the first part but did not have a clue on what to do. Your link was very helpful thanks again.

I am on part 4 of the quest right now and from what I have seen and heard it is currently bugged. I watched a lvl 62 guardian be killed by this guy in 2 hits. Didnt make much since with the mob being lvl 55 but stayed out there for about 2 hours and watched this guy just clean house on eveyone and no one was able to beat him. There were some pretty good groups that came out too with all member being lvl 60+.

There are posts on the official site from people complaining that the named mobs in DoF got upgraded in LU20 and are now impossible for groups/raids that could take them before Smiley: frown
