Why can't SOE make these expansions on DvDs like the original EQ. Gonna take forever to install 10 discs! I get the feeling half of the data on the discs is probably eq1 original. Just wanted to comment on that, 10 discs is abit much for a expansion. DvD- drives was made for a reason....

Since you bought the store version, a lot of those disk would be the original game. Though I agree it would be nice to have DvD versions to limit the amount of disks. That is one of the reasons I do the download version from the station store. It automatically tracks what you have and down loads what you have paid for, so I only needed my original EQ2 DvD.

Don't see what the problem is.
Bought the cd version too, 9 discs, but you have all the game on it. If you already have the game installed you only use 4 of them anyway. And the plant, don't forget the plant ! :D

Yea it wasn't so bad, I was about to freak though when I seen 9 discs. But yet it only used 4 of them. Still don't understand why don't they put expansions on dvd, but oh well.

I can't figure that plant out. I fed it some water and it still gave me a rotten fruit.

the plant requires 3 items - food / water / fertilizer - one of each will get you food or a potion. Anything less will just get you rotten fruit.

Been giving it one of each but still getting rotten fruits. Is it instant or do you have to wait a certain period of time ?

near as I can tell, (and from what I've read), there are just the 3 "classes" of plant item and it's the order you feed them that gets you different results. So, giving it food + water + fertilizer will get a different result than water + fertilizer + food (and so forth). but the plants do require a "balanced" diet!

The discs arrived this afternoon, I was quite pleased to see only two DVD discs in the box though Smiley: smile

Took about 10 minutes or so to install the expansion.

Now first lunch, then let's check out that carnivorous plant!

A pity I've been selling all those items that I could have given it.
