I went to sleep on Toxxulia and woke up on Najena!

Last night after I logged off, I put in my transfer order moving 4 of my characters from the doomed world of Toxxulia over to the burgeoning world of Najena. And when I awoke, (about 6 short hours later), I thought I'd poke my head in and see what was happening in-game.

Imagine my surprise when I discovered that my people were all snug, warm & dry... and safely tucked away in their new home.

Good job SOE!

OBD, did you do anything special before you moved, meaning did you remove your house items, the contents of your shared banks, etc.

I am asking because I was moved from Faydark to Befallen and I'm thinking of moving to a lower-populated server (if there is such a thing anymore).

I had an awful experience with SOE's forced move, I'm wondering if you did anything before you transferred your characters.

Thanks!

No actually... it all happened so fast that I didn't have a chance to go in and lock anything down. I'll go in tonight and check to see if the movers broke any of my furnature!

I moved all my characters not long ago and only advice I can give is make sure you empty your shared bank slots. I lost all my items in my shared bank. As they were harvest components I really didnt care that much though.

I guess my server Oasis had it's merge last week. For once I am on the server that is being merged into. On Live I was on the Tholuxe Paelis server that ended up being consumed by Bertoxxolus (sp).

I hadn't really noticed a difference in anything until last night when I noticed someone in the bank with a guild name that ended in an x. I feel very bad for them.

Now thinking back, it did seem that the server was more populated. It has been several months since I had seen an Antonica 2 or Thundering Steppes 2. There was alos a bit more lag in places I don't usually experience lag. But I attributed that to a graphic card that is beginning to bite the dust.

Could someone recomend a good graphic card under $300 for EQ II? The one I will be replacing is the ATI All In Wonder 9800. It was awesome but it's gonna go and I'd like to be prepared.

Probably, I am a casual eq2er so I never looked for guilds to be in.
