Well I see SOE snuck a horrible nerf in. Now it doesn't matter what level you group with if a mob is kos to you solo its kos in a group. I can understand SOE not wanting lvl 10's to group wiht a lvl 60 so they can explore high end areas, but it is ******** people who are not just in it to cheat.

A good example is today I put a group together for Octogorgon and the Captain for manastone. I did a request in the lvl 30 to 40 and 40 to 50 channels. I found a lvl 33, 2 lvl 37's, me (41), a 44 and a 43. Before this would have been enough to grey out the level 27 trash mobs, and even if it had not they would at least be green and therefore exp and chance for loot. But NOOO thanks to SOE now the mob will agress the lower levels and yet stay grey to the higher levels. So of course the higher levels was throwing a fit ready to quit because they had hordes and hordes of lvl 27 mobs attacking the lower level members of the group AND we was getting no exp or loot.

Anyways thanks SOE for ******** that up for us. IF they are going to force us to fight crap mobs at least have them green out so we get at least some crap exp and crap loot. I was happy with this patch till I found this out. Going to make it hard for lower levels to get into raids because people will know they have to fight grey trash mobs if they invite lower levels.

I had a friend, used to spend a lot of time duoing with him many months ago. Then I discovered that as we started on a new zone he already knew where everything was.

He used to group with a higher level, run around the new zone doing all the discovery quests, including any landmark books, for exp while greyed out.

For me, half the fun is gradually making your way into a new zone, doing all the zone quests, exploring the map while getting slightly freaked out at the higher level mobs and learning to get around without getting dead.

I don't play with him anymore Smiley: disappointed
