Graphicas card questionFollow

Could anyone tell me the difference between a geforce 6600 and the geforce 6600gt?Cuz ive heard that the 6600 isnt as good in running everquest as the gt and if i but the gt version will i notice a difference?

Maybe wrong but I think the GT was the one that had stuttering problems with EQ2, and needs a work around to make it work well.

I suggest you check the official forums, there's a lot of discussion about graphics cards there Smiley: smile

heh i dont even have this game yet because im scared that im not gaonna be able to run it with nice graphics without any framerate problems ="(

GT versions are supposed to be faster than the vanilla cards for everything, barring bugs.

I have a 6800GT and I have no graphics issues whatsoever, and I can run the game at the default "High Quality" (? - second from top) settings with a few additional features turned up and that one option for updating water reflections set to one time. It looks spectacular. I also have 2GB RAM and a 3800 Mhz processor (I think).

Tip: That one option for the water reflections can really slow you down if you leave it updating itself contantly. Even a cup of water in a zone will require reflection updates and it really isn't noticable to me set to one time.
