I just purchased EQII, and Im an old FFXI and WoW player, and I cant choose between these classes.

I want to know which of these classes is still a good tank but can give the most Dmg aswell. I know SK's get Life taps and stuff later on, but I was just wondering how these 3 line up against eachother.

Cheers for any help.

Also, Which Race would you suggest? I was thinking of Going Kerra.

Monk/Bruiser depend on their quickness to avoid hits. They will have a very high mitigation (ability to dodge) which helps them survive.

Berzerker/SK get heavier armor and they are able to withstand hits better, allowing them to survive longer.

Of all 4, the SK is the only one with lower DPS. The other 3 will have a higher DPS, although they are still not considered a DPS class.

Any race can be any class, so you can pick one that you will enjoy. Although most races are restricted to starting in a particular city (good side or evil side) you can later decide to Betray and become a resident of the opposing city.

I believe Kerra are neutral, so they can start in either city.
