I have tried to unsubscribe all day long. The phone just loops and the email wont accept my login. (even though I am logged in) I am pulling my hair out! I have gone to unsubscribe so often there is a cybertrail to it! Anyone have access to the secret to success? Or a phone number or anything?
The phone number given for customer service is useless. Unless you like paying money to not get connected to where you tell it to go.

Please help!

If you are still unable to stop your account, you can always tell the credit card company to stop payment to SOE. So when SOE tries to collect their monthly fee, the credit card will reject it, and SOE will suspend your account.

Taken from the EQ2 Support page

Quote:
Canceling an EverQuest II Account

To cancel your subscription to EverQuest II, take the following steps:

Launch EverQuest II and log into the game using your Station name and password

At the auto patcher screen, click on the Edit Account option

Select the Cancel Subscription option

A new screen will appear that asks you to confirm your cancellation. Select Yes or No, and then click on Submit

Now you can cancel by going to the main site, and click myaccount, and enter your password and login. Under my subscriptions is a way to edit them, which has a cancel button. I doubt the refund unused time, but it should stop future billings.

I don't think you can ban SOe from useing your credit card. I had a similar problem with them back during the Velious era of eq1. I told my credit card company not to allow payment to them and I was told they could not legally deny payment. I even asked to cancel my entire credit card and they said it can still charge to my CC even with a canceled account. Finnally after a few days I got ahold of SOE tech support and got it canceled.

Yea they make it ALOt easier to charge your card then to stop chargeing it, go figure.

I would say you need to change CC companys then. I had the same problem with EQ1 call my CC company and had them set as no payment and sony closed my account after about 2 months.
