Ok, i've played FFXI for the last 2 years. Then, I moved on to WoW, but i'm also thinking about trying this as well.

I heard that if you played EQ1 (which I did, 6 or maybe 7 years ago), you can use /claim to get various trinkets or paintings or whatnot to to decorate your house with or etc.

Thing is, I have absolutely zero idea what my account name was, or my password, or what server I played on, or what the credit card I used to play with. The best I could do is supply a name and address. Can I still take advantage of this feature?

Thanks in advance.

Actually, it has nothing to do with playing EQ one. This lick might help =).

http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/content.vm?page=everquest2birthday its long, but you can handle it.

Yes you will get some items though, even if you just play for one day. Such as an awsome 12 slot bag.

Your answer wasnt what he asked. To answer your question Chesko, you have to use the same account name that you used in EQ1 for EQ2 to get the rewards you speak of. You will however still get a 12 slot bag just for having EQ2 because of their 1st anniversary celebration, and as of Tuesdays update, if you purchase DoF, you get an additional 90 days vertan rewards. However, if you dont remember the account name from EQ1, you wont be able to get your reward such as the Chesko of Mithaniel Marr, or whatever server you played on.

I went about trying to obtain my station ID like you mentioned... turns out, after verifying my old email address and my birthdate, they still had it! I'm very surprised. I'll try to use it when the download finishes (downloading it now from Direct2Drive).

Thanks again!

I think you get a painting of a eq1 zone along with a special title. I had heard you could get a item that looked like your epic 1.0 if you linked accounts, but when I tried to do that I didn't get my eq1 monk's epic gloves :/

I got a painting the Dragon version of Ragefire, who was involved in my Epic 1.0. Maybe that's it.

I think you also get a talking (!) statue of Queen Antonia or that other loser, depending on what city you're in.
