In EQ, The highest DPS Was the rogue.. What's it in EQ 2? My friends quit EQ and WoW and moved to EQ 2 and I want my DPS. There's Rogue and Predator... What's the better DPS? (Subclass DPS as well as rogue or predator in general)
Scout - Predator - Assassin is they way to go if you want the highest DPS melee class. Their skills and arts lend themselves most purely to killing stuff. Wizards and/or Warlocks may have higher DPS, I'm not sure.
Swashbucklers have the best weapon DPS over the other scouts but if i remember wizard/warlock are the best DPS due to thier nukes
Now this is from a priest point of view (Im a templar). As for best DPS I dont always want the person who has the highest DPS. Mostly thats because some people dont know how to use it. For example ive played with wizards and warlocks where the first spell they cast is one that causes over 1000 damage. Now at lvl 38 your tank doesnt have much of a chance of holding agro. But i woulds say swashbucklers over assasin because less of there damage is oportunistic. (dont always have to be behind. )

in a group, getting behind an enemy is easy...heck it's easy even without group, but without the short cooldown on stun or whatever it was called again it would be alot harder, you just have to know how to do it right. Don't open up with high-damage stuff tough..unless you can get the creature down to at least below 10% health in which case it doesn't mather and it's better because you won't get as much damage.
