Can anyone tell me if I choose to be a dark elf can i betray and become a ranger instead of a assassin? I want to be a dark race but also want the ranger class. Any help would be great!

Yes, just choose the Dark Elf race at starting, go into Freeport and become a Predetor, then betray, and go to Qeynos, and you can become a Ranger.

don't forget to name yourself Drisst or Drizt or Drist or something like that as well...
