Good side for rangers?Follow

Just wondering if I have to be a part of the good side to become a Ranger.. like a Iksar could not be a ranger? Sorry new to the game. Also do the rangers in EQ2 use their bows more often than swords and stuff?
Can anyone provide a picture of a high lvl ranger? It would be much appriciated! Thanks
