Should Bards weild instrumentFollow

I think they should have to put it in their charm slot, because if it would be put in the weapons spot, thier efectivness would be drastically reduced.

I have never played one in eq2 but I did in eq1 and I can say that the instrument amplifys the effect of the song. I would assume the same for eq2. Since skills or spells generally outweigh damage I would say using an instrument is something bards should be doing. Consider also that bards have abilities that amplify the abilities of their comarades. That means that any amplification to a bard ability gets amplified 5 fold. But like I said I haven't played a bard in eq2 so I am not an expert.
